About Us

Ally MD Health is a private, physician-led medical practice for people who need a doctor at their side: families facing serious illness or hospitalization, patients managing multiple conditions across multiple specialists, and solo agers with no one nearby to watch over their care.

We founded the practice after years in the emergency department, watching the same story repeatedly: patients discharged and back within weeks, families making high-stakes decisions they didn't understand, and no single physician staying close through the moments that mattered most. Not for lack of good doctors but because the system gives no one that job. The hospital team's work ends at discharge. The primary care physician, stretched across thousands of patients, can't be at the bedside in the crisis moment or follow anyone home. The gap is where things fall apart.

We built AllyMD Health to hold that ground. We are board-certified emergency physicians who serve as the doctor in your family: we speak with your specialists as peers, explain everything in plain language, and treat you at home examining, prescribing, and writing orders through recovery and beyond. Your existing doctors stay your doctors. We're there for the moments in between.

Physicians You Can Count On

Dr. Alexandra Grossman

DR. Alexandra Grossman

A board-certified Emergency Physician with extensive experience diagnosing complex conditions, coordinating multidisciplinary care, and advocating for patients during critical moments. Born and raised in the Los Angeles area, she trained at Tufts University School of Medicine, graduating as a member of the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha honor society, before completing her Emergency Medicine Residency at Harbor-UCLA, where she served as Chief Resident.

She has spent years practicing emergency medicine at Torrance Memorial Medical Center, including serving as the Geriatric Emergency Department Physician Champion. Through this work, she kept learning the same lesson: families are overwhelmed inside the hospital — decisions moving fast, no one explaining — and often abandoned after it: missed follow-ups, unwatched medications, and a recovery no one supervises. She founded AllyMD Health to be there for both the crisis and the after.

Dr. Alexandra Grossman

My goal is to provide a home base for your health journey. Care that goes beyond traditional medical models and patient-physician relationships. I am involved in my patients’ care as both a medical advisor and an advocate across every setting: at home, in the emergency room or hospital, at rehabilitation or skilled nursing facilities, and during outpatient appointments.

I coordinate not only medical care and specialist referrals, but also the many elements that support health and wellness such as, home equipment, caregivers, nutrition services, meal delivery, physical therapy, transportation, and mental health resources. I am the physician you can count on, like having a doctor in the family, available when it matters most.
